Flow Notes processes all data locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or have access to your recordings, notes, or personal data. You control your data entirely.

Data Collection

The App itself does not collect or transmit any data to CGA Management Ltd. However, the App uses the following device capabilities and third-party services:

Microphone Access

The App requests microphone permission to record audio for transcription. Audio recordings are:

  • Processed in real-time for speech-to-text conversion
  • Not stored permanently as audio files
  • Never transmitted to CGA Management Ltd

Local Storage

The App stores the following data locally on your device:
  • Transcribed text and notes
  • AI-generated summaries and insights
  • Your API keys (encrypted using platform secure storage)
  • App preferences and settings

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services for core functionality. During the testing period, API access is provided by CGA Management Ltd. In the future, users may provide their own API keys.

Speechmatics

Used for real-time speech-to-text transcription. Audio is streamed from your device to Speechmatics servers for processing.

Anthropic (Claude AI)

Used for generating summaries, extracting insights, and providing coaching feedback. Text transcripts are sent to Anthropic’s API for processing.

Data Processing During Testing

During the internal testing period, your audio and transcript data is processed through API accounts managed by CGA Management Ltd. This means:

  • Your recordings are sent to third-party services (Speechmatics, Anthropic) for processing
  • CGA Management Ltd does not access, review, or store your content
  • Usage may be subject to rate limits or monitoring for abuse prevention

Data You Control

You have full control over your data:

  • Delete notes: Remove individual notes or all notes from within the App
  • Remove API keys: Clear your API keys from the App’s settings at any time
  • Uninstall: Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data

Data Security

The App uses platform-provided secure storage (Android Keystore / iOS Keychain) to encrypt sensitive data such as API keys. Notes and transcripts are stored in a local database on your device.

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
