Trust is like a bank account; you build it with small deposits over time. One broken promise can wipe out months of deposits. The good news: consistent small actions build trust faster than grand gestures.

  • Team Leader Tip: Create a “promise board”, public commitments the team makes to each other. Track follow-through. Celebrate kept promises.
  • Executive Leader: Measure trust levels between departments. Where it’s low, facilitate joint projects to build relationships.
