Your best idea is just a starting point. When it collides with other perspectives, it transforms into something better than any individual could create. Ego kills innovation; collaboration creates it.

One thing you could do this week to reduce friction and increase flow:

  • Individual’s Tip: Bring a half-baked idea to your team. Say “This isn’t finished, help me make it better.” Watch it transform.
  • Team Leader Tip: Try “brain writing”, everyone writes ideas silently for 5 minutes, then pass papers around to build on each other’s thoughts.
  • Executive Leader: Create innovation spaces where different departments collide. Mixed perspectives create breakthrough solutions.
