Friction to Flow

Build Good Systems, Free Your Team

Practical tips for peak performance without burnout

Good systems make the right thing the easy thing.

Build systems that free you up, not tie you down.

Bad systems create more work than they save, forms that take longer than the task, and approvals that delay more than they protect. Good systems make the right thing the easy thing.

One thing you could do this week to reduce friction and increase flow:

  • Individual’s Tip: Automate one annoying repeated task. Email template? Spreadsheet formula? Saved response? Start small.
  • Team Leader Tip: Ask the team: “What stupid stuff do we do repeatedly?” Pick the easiest to automate and do it.
  • Executive Leader: Invest in automation that elevates human work, not replaces it. Free people for thinking, not typing.
